"American Idol" singer, Jessica Sanchez, is nearing a deal to join "Glee" for several episodes next season.
There are no details yet on the role, but the 16-year-old singer would join the cast mid-way through the first half of Season 4, after she finishes the "Idols Live" summer tour.
If the deal goes through for Sanchez to join the "Glee" cast, it will mark her third time being on a primetime show.
Back in 2006, she appeared as a contestant on the first season NBC's "America's Got Talent."
