College Student Problems

Hey kiss listeners!!!! Yes, it’s almost the end of the semester. Some of you may be graduating and have a bad case of senioritis or some of you may have sunshine and lounging by the pool on your brain. At this time of year it is critical to stay focused, you’ve worked so hard to get this far why ruin a good thing. So for this post I wanted to give you some tips to get through these next few weeks.
Really Manage Your Time- If you’re like me, chances are you have procrastinated throughout the semester and are now frantically trying to get everything done at once, but this is NOT the time to procrastinate. Look at your due dates for your assignments and exams and plan accordingly. Your social life may have to be put on hold for a little while- but that’s ok, it’s almost summer vacation. Just think of the beach and sunshine and flip flops and fun you’ll have in a few weeks.
Sleep! I tend to tell myself “if I don’t sleep as much, I will have more time to finish all that I need to do”. Well, clearly I’m wrong. Not having enough sleep will make you feel exhausted throughout the day and not to mention you’ll be less productive and motivated. Also make sure you eat, you need to be alert and on top of things during these last few weeks. You’ll need at least 7 hours of sleep to function normally especially if you have to kick your body and mind into overdrive for a few days.
Ignore The Celebrating Students- I have always been one of those “lucky” ones to have my last final on the last day of final week at the last hour while everyone I know was done days ago. Yes, it sucks but you have to keep focuses- then you can reward yourself after getting through the stress and craziness. Just try to ignore the ones who are celebrating, don’t let them distract you (too much) and focus on your goals.
Good luck to everyone on your exams/finals/projects; whatever it may be. You can do it!!!!!!!!!
