It's been a while since anyone's said the words, so they just didn't sound real: "Live, from the MGM Grand, Michael Jackson!'
And there he was. Well, sort of. Thanks to science, technology and a sprinkling of wizardry, the King of Pop sprang to life in a hologram. He sang "Slave to the Rhythm," he walked down steps, and he danced with a dozen live dancers on a special set.

It took about five months for the folks involved to get it all together. Those folks, by the way, are Dick Clark Producitions. I've got a sneaky suspicion that flamed by the success of last night's appearance by MJ, they're working on a hologram of Dick Clark himself to host New Year's Even in Times Square in another seven months.
They've got the time - they've got the techology. And both of those things are scaring me right now.
