Tip Number 2: Dress Code
Make sure what you wear is appropriate for your internship. You want to fit in with the look of the company that you are interning for. You may be coming from class to your internship so make sure that your company is okay with you wearing jeans, because some may not be! Regardless of what they say about the dress code here are a few definite no-no’s that you should never wear to your internship:
Nothing too revealing- if you have to think about whether or not you should wear it, then hopefully you know the answer is you shouldn’t
Flip flops-no one wants to see your feet, or hear that sound all day
Make sure you follow your company’s policy on tattoos and piercing’s
Keep jewelry simple and conservative and don’t overdo it on the makeup ladies!
