Internship Tip #7: Always say “Thank You”
Two words: “Thank you” can never be said enough if you ask me. There’s something about saying thank you that shows humility and of course gratitude. If a co-worker treats you to lunch or coffee you are definitely going to want to say thank you! But, don’t forget to thank your supervisor or co-workers after learning something new, asking for help, or when they give you an opportunity. Always be extremely grateful when you are provided with a new opportunity at your internship because it shows that the people at your internship trust you to take on larger more challenging tasks. These two words alone can take you far at your internship, so say them loud and proud!
