The artist formerly known as Jay-Z has no more use for the hyphen in his name. According to Billboard editor Joe Levy, Hova's label says he will now use "Jay Z" as his official moniker.
Apparently, he's been using "Jay Z" for the past three years and we all missed it.
A statement from Jay's publicist said: "Dude . . . We haven't used the hyphen since 2010 . . ."
No comment from Jay Z on the change.
