American Idol Recap

Elise Testone was challengd b the "American Idol" judges last night.

The 28-year-old teacher from Charleston, S.C., performed Alicia Keys' "No One" and Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get it On" during an evening of old and new tunes.

Randy Jackson challenged Elise's song choices, while Jennifer Lopez called her out for not showing enough emotion when she's singing on stage.

Joshua Ledet didn't have any issues with the judges. They gave the 20-year-old vocalist from Westlake, La., standing ovations after both Fantasia's "I Believe" and Sam Cooke's "A Change is Gonna Come."

Hollie Cavanagh had kicked things off with Adele's "Rolling in the Deep"—and the judges loved it.

Skylar Laine rocked the country version of Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" while Colton Dixon performed Gaga's "Bad Romance."

Jennifer Lopez told Skylar, "A more perfect song for you does not exist!".

Colton was praised for being a compelling performer no matter what he sings.

Jessica Sanchez sang Alicia Keys' hit "Fallin'".

Phillip Phillips blew the judges away with his raspy rendition of Usher's "U Got It Bad."

Hollie topped her earlier performance with Dusty Springfield's "Son of a Preacher Man," but Colton underwhelmed with Earth Wind and Fire's party classic "September."

Phillip impressed Steven Tyler with Wilson Pickett's "In the Midnight Hour".

Jessica tore into Otis Redding's "Try a Little Tenderness," and Skylar sang"I Heard It Through the Grapevine".

WAS ONE DIRECTION'S LIAM PAYNE INVOLVED IN A FIGHT WITH THE WANTED?

One Direction and The Wanted aren't just battling it out on the charts. The British boy bands also allegedly doing it with their hands!

There's a rumor that their rivalry got a bit more personal recently, with some sources claiming they bumped into one another at an airport this week and got into a bit of a scuffle.

According to the UK's Daily Mail, the guys were at Los Angeles Airport when words were exchanged and things almost got out of hand. Both their security teams eventually stepped in and squashed things over.

Everyone's denying punches were thrown, but One Direction member Liam Payne was recently snapped in Australia sporting a bruise on his neck.

Some fans claim it was a hickey, but it looks worse than that.

'AMERICAN IDOL': DEANDRE DONE

Deandre Brackensick, the 17-year-old student from San Jose, Calif. receiving the fewest votes from 'American Idol' viewers even though he impressed the "Idol" judges with DeBarge's "I Like It" on Wednesday night.

He was NOT saved by the judges panel.

Jennifer Lopez told Deandre that she was outvoted by Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson to use the judges' one-time-only ability to save him from dismissal.

Before his last-chance performance of Stevie Wonder's "Master Blaster," Deandre was joined in the show's bottom three by rockin' 28-year-old teacher Elise Testone, of Charleston, S.C., and 18-year-old vocalist Hollie Cavanagh of McKinney, Texas.

Highlights of Thursday's episode included a visit from Season 5 contestant Kelly Pickler, who sang "Where's Tammy Wynnette," as well as boy band The Wanted, which performed "Glad You Came."

"THE VOICE" ELIMINATIONS: FOUR SINGERS ARE CUT

Four singers were cut from "The Voice"-- two each from Blake Shelton's and Christina Aguilera's teams.

While the top three were safe from America's votes, the bottom three still had hope. After performing one last time, one of them was saved by their coach.

Team Blake

Erin Willett, Jermaine Paul and RaeLynn were safe, leaving Charlotte Sometimes, Naia Kete and Jordis Unga up for elimination.

Kete performed a soulful rendition of Beyoncé's "If I Were a Boy," Sometimes chose Goo Goo Dolls' "Iris" and Unga gave an emotional performance to the Rolling Stones' "Wild Horses."

Blake saved Jordis. She will remain in the competition, meanwhile Charlotte and Naia are OUT.

Team Christina

Jesse Campbell, Lindsey Pavao and Chris Mann were safe, meaning Moses Stone, Sera Hill or Ashley De La Rosa could get the boot.

Ashley sang Grace Potter's "Paris," Sera chose Mariah Carey's "Vision of Love" and Moses sang the Script's "Breakeven."

Adam Levine and Blake would choose Ashley, while Cee Lo Green would save Sera. Christina chose Ashley, meaning Sera and Moses were sent home.
