MAX GEORGE CLAIMS ONE DIRECTION CAUSED THEIR SPLIT

The Wanted member Max George blamed One Direction for their recent breakup.

He said: "One Direction are a phenomenon that no one else can compete with. They've taken over the market. We have our own fans, who we love, but we couldn't stop things from happening."

Described as “The Mogul,” Selena Gomez was ranked No. 1 on Seventeen magazine’s list of the 17 Most Powerful Girls Under 21. Beyonce wore a revealing black thong bodysuit over fishnet tights to perform a rendition of "Drunk In Love" with her husband Jay Z.

JAY Z IS TEAMING UP WITH WILL SMITH FOR A NEW TV COMEDY

Jay Z is teaming up with Will Smith for a new electronic music comedy.

Jay and Will are co-producers of "Higher," a half-hour series that's in development at HBO.

THE WANTED WILL BE TAKING A BREAK AFTER THEIR UPCOMING TOUR

The guys of The Wanted are taking a break after their upcoming tour. They announced they'll be going their separate ways for an undetermined amount of time.

They made the announcement on their official website and wrote:

"The Wanted are pleased to announce the release of their new video and single 'Glow In The Dark' taken from their November release Word of Mouth. They are very excited to perform 'Glow In The Dark' along with their smash singles 'I Found You', 'Chasing The Sun', and 'Glad You Came', amongst others for their fans on their upcoming Word of Mouth Tour."

"This tour will be their last for a while as Tom, Max, Jay, Siva and Nathan have collectively decided to take time to pursue personal endeavors following the tour's conclusion. The band wants to stress to their fans that they will continue on as The Wanted and look forward to many successful projects together in the future. They thank their fans for their continued love and support and look forward to seeing them on tour."

 Ke$ha updated fans on her progress combating an eating disorder on Tuesday. The singer, who is at a rehab facility outside Chicago, asked a friend to write the following tweet: “This is Ke$ha’s friend. She asked me to tweet an update for her because she doesn’t have access to Twitter right now. She says ‘THANK YOU SOOO MUCH. I’m overwhelmed to tears by all of the love, letters and support!! I’ll be back soon and better than ever.’ Ohhh and she can’t believe  Timber is still number one! YEAH animals! PARTY ON!!!!”

One Direction's Niall Horan went on Twitter to confirm he had knee surgery, which turned out to be more serious than he expected.

Niall tore some ligaments in the knee in December. When a U.K. newspaper posted a picture of him on crutches, he posted an explanation to his millions of Twitter followers.

Shakira's first single from her upcoming album has a drop date. "Can't Remember To Forget," featuring Rihanna drops next Monday.

The new single had been confirmed to be dropping this month, but Rihanna revealed the actual date on Twitter yesterday.

Last month, Shakira and Rihanna were in Los Angeles filming the song's music video.

TAYLOR SWIFT TAPPED TENNESSEAN OF THE YEAR

As if she needed yet another award, Taylor Swift has been named Tennessean of the Year by the editors of The Tennessean newspaper, despite the fact that the country crossover queen was born and raised in Pennsylvania. Swift shipped off to Nashville to pursue her dreams of being a star at the age of 14, but the staff at The Tennessean said she deserved the honor for all the charity work she’s done in Nashville, including a $4 million gift to the Country Music Hall of Fame.
