Was Anyone Asking For This Reunion?

The headline on screams... "We're Finally Getting a Family Matters Reunion."

I can honestly say, I have never sat down with a friend or a group of friends and said, "You know what we need? We need a Family Matters reunion."

And yet, this month, we'll get one.

It's a Lifetime movie called The Flight Before Christmas.

It's about a couple who gets stranded in Montana on Christmas Eve.

Somehow, the Winslows from Family Matters get involved. But the coverage doesn't say how.

Here's hoping that Steve Urkel plays the plane's pilot. That would be worth watching, don't you think?

In case you've forgotten the show, here's a little taste...

Adele the Anamoly

Adele is setting records everywhere she turns, and turning the recording industry upside down.

In its first week of release, her new album, "25," sold 3.4 million copies. That shatters a 15-year record held by 'NSync, whose "No Strings Attached" album sold 2.4 million copies in its first week. And that was back when people actually went to record stores to buy their music.

Adele is amazing everyone because she refused to stream her album - choosing just to stream "Hello," the first song from the album.

If you want the rest, you have to buy it.

And people are buying it - sales are already over the 4 million mark, and continuing to climb.

Pretty amazing when you think about it.

Look, Everybody, Psy's Back!

Remember Psy, the South Korean rapper who gifted the world with "Gangnam Style?"

He's back.

He's got a new song called "Daddy."

It sounds so familiar, but I can't quite put my finger on why.

Check out the video - see if you can figure it out.

Here's hoping the "Daddy" dance doesn't become a thing...

If You Can't Beat 'Em, Agree with 'Em

Kim Kardashian's taking plenty of punishment in social media these days over her pregnancy weight gain.

It's not at all fair, but I have to admit, she's taking it in stride.

Last week, someone tweeted at her that all she thinks about is food, and called her a "fat bitch."

Her response tweet is hilarious.

Short, sweet, to the point.

Nicely played, Kim!

Not a Happy Princess

Carrie Fisher, who originated the role of Princess Leia in the original Star Wars trilogy, is not too happy with what she had to do for the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

She had plenty of comments and some excellent quotes for Good Housekeeping magazine on how she had to lose 35 pounds to play the role.

"They don't want to hire all of me - just about three-quarters of me."

"That is so messed up. They might as well say get younger, because that's how easy it is."

Not a happy princess at all.

I wonder if she'll have popcorn and Raisinettes at the premiere?

Filling Up the Red Kettle

The Salvation Army in Minnesota got an amazingly large donation in one of its red kettles over the weekend.

A check for $500,000, dropped in by a couple who prefer to remain anonymous.

The couple told the Salvation Army that when they were younger, they lived on discarded food from a nearby supermarket.

Now they're in a position to help others, and help others they did.

Big time...

It's Still Chocolate and Peanut Butter, Right?

It's hard to believe that candy purists are in an uproar over the new Reese's Christmas Tree candy.

On the outside, they have squiggly green lines to suggest the candy might look like a Christmas tree.

But when you open it up, it's really just a sort of shapeless blob.

Honestly, it looks just the same as the Reese's Easter Egg.

But some consumers are highly disappointed, finding that it looks like a turd.

If you were decorating around the house with these things, then I'd get the uproar.

But let's face it, it's just a delicious blob of chocolate-covered peanut butter.

Quit bellyaching - until eating all that candy gives you an actual bellyache.

Getting Excited for the Megashark

A few shark enthusiasts - okay, I guess they're scientists - got mega-excited about spotting a megashark.

Watch the video to see just how excited they get. It was part of Shark Week, but it's the first time I've seen this clip.

And maybe you can make a new drinking game out of it.

Take a shot of whatever you like every time you hear the phrase "the biggest shark I've ever seen in my life."

You'd better stock the bar now...

Well, That Looks Intense

Another sneak peek trailer has been released for Batman Versus Superman: Dawn of Justice.

This one looks pretty intense.

Just 49 seconds long, and we see Batman chained to a ceiling in some subterranean tunnel.

Superman, looking uber-unhappy, strides purposefully toward Batman, and yanks off his cowl...

And Ben Affleck does NOT look happy about it either.

There's a full trailer coming our way this Thursday night on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Tuning in for that?

Which Starship is Better?

Neil deGrasse Tyson is arguably the world's leading astrophysicist.

And he's also a guy who makes science cool.

So naturally, it falls on him to settle one of the biggest geek debates of all time: which starship is better, the USS Enterprise from Star Trek or the Milennium Falcon from Star Wars?

And he settles the question, once and for all.

Some of you may be absolutely surprised by what he has to say...
