Texas Governor Rick Perry, a possible candidate for president in 2016, was interviewed in San Francisco this week, and the subject of homosexuality popped up, and he equated it with alcoholism.
"Whether or not you feel compelled to follow a particular lifestyle or not, you have the ability to decide not to do that," Perry said. "I may have the genetic coding that I'm inclined to be an alcoholic, but I have the desire not to do that, and I look at the homosexual issue the same way."
Which means, I guess, that he must have the genetic coding for being stupid, and he has the desire to keep doing that.
Bad enough he’s got that opinion. But to say it – out loud! – in San Francisco? That sort of genetic coding you just can’t fix.
